I retrieve that the theme of the volume is treating people the way you want to be treated even if people don't treat you the same. The reason I think so is that Katie (the master character) in the beginning did not want to stand up for her former best friend is considering her quondam best friend was not standing up for her. Yet, at the end of the book, she changes the listen and stands up for her. She also felt better when she stands upward for her quondam all-time friend. Also something actually good happens to he I think that the theme of the book is treating people the manner you want to be treated even if people don't treat you the same. The reason I call back so is that Katie (the chief grapheme) in the beginning did not want to stand up for her former best friend is because her sometime best friend was not standing upward for her. However, at the end of the book, she changes the mind and stands upwardly for her. She also felt better when she stands up for her former best friend. Besides something actually good happens to her. Her one-time all-time friend is at present her friend. All of good things happened merely because she stood up for former best friend. Her arch nemesis has moved abroad, leaving her former best friend the leader of the PGC - but does she want to renew her friendship with Katie? If so, she has a weird fashion of showing information technology, competing against Katie and the Cupcake Club for the All-time cupcakes. I love these books - and I am always ready for a cupcake while reading them. They empower tween girls to be themselves, to be true to their friends, and to power through whatever bug they may have. I loved this book so much! Information technology taught tweens/teens to stick up for people even if they are mean to you. Information technology teaches you about friendship and to treat others the fashion you want to be treated. Information technology was prissy to see Callie and Katie friends once again at the end. This book will be a reread at some point in the future. I recommend this book for ages 6+.

Katie is the to the lowest degree interesting Cupcake Club member, to be honest (perchance because she reminds me of me and I'k admittedly boring lol), but I did similar how her story played out this time. I felt she was more 'alive' in this volume. My simply real complaint? I don't get why are at that place 2 Eddies in this series. Information technology's a fleck disruptive, to say the least. So Katie thinks that this is a chance to brand friends with Callie again since she left her for the pop girls social club. I accept to admit, I was slightly disappointed by this volume.The first 2 Katie books were great, and I was looking forward to this one - but I was not as happy as I should accept been. The whole story seemed very unrealistic and young, and whilst I become that Coco Simon was trying to convey the helplessness still bossy attitude of Callie, and how life looked through her optics, I didn't feel it was executed well. Still, not all was bad.
I have to admit, I was slightly disappointed by this book.The first ii Katie books were swell, and I was looking forward to this one - but I was not every bit happy as I should accept been. The whole story seemed very unrealistic and immature, and whilst I go that Coco Simon was trying to convey the helplessness yet snobby attitude of Callie, and how life looked through her eyes, I didn't experience it was executed well. It's about Katie meeting the Cupcake Guild. She had the Cupcake War. Katie had a Spoiler. The spoiler was Callie. Katie is enemies with Callie. And Katie gets stuck sleeping with Callie...
I loved this one and then much. Warning: This review includes a few spoilers!!! I read this a while ago, but I really loved how Callie and Katie, ex-best friends, started this sort of rivalry. DOWN WITH SYDNEY! L.O.L. This book is so entertaining to read for immature girls!

This one of the better, if not the all-time, books in the series thus far. It felt similar things happened that real pre-teens actually bargain with. Information technology was authentic and I enjoyed it.
I love this serial, I'g and so glad Sydney is gone.

Katie and the cupcake state of war by coco Simons is a contemporary realistic fiction for ages eight through twelve years old. It's is nearly a young girl in a cupcake (blistering) club. She is finding ways to confront and work out her friendship with another girl in the group that is her former friend.I enjoyed all aspects of this book. It had a positive message for not only young girls but all relationships. She takes a very mature route to working through the problem at manus.I absolutely loved they tackled

I would recommend this book to my ten your old niece in a middle trounce ,because the author did a very skillful job in presenting positive relationships and how to deal with sure situations. While volume does have a few illustrations through I think it is still very historic period appropriate with its context. If I was working with late elementary school and early middle school I would definitely buy this whole series for my class room.

I do love me some Cupcake Diaries :) I FINALLY got this in at about 8 at nighttime and drove home from piece of work and finished it around 10. Oh, and I ate dinner in at that place. I get then dorkily excited when they come up in! Josh only laughed at me.

This was a really great entry into "The Cupcake Diaries". The challenge of facing a former friend and competing confronting them in a contest; it's a lot for a preteen to handle. The story revolves around Katie and some of her trials and tribulations. I experience that some of the challenges that she faced were handled with care & empathy. Still going strong as a series. I loved this book, but in a different mode than I loved book #three, Emma on Thin Icing. This was less intense, only emotional. You lot could really experience Katie'southward hurting and so the happy ending was great. I was a big fan of this volume! I really like this book considering it tells the story of katie and what going between her and her ex bestfreind that left her hanging on the get-go day of schoolhouse for mean girls but they do something to be at least good friends.
Coco Simon always dreamed of opening a cupcake baker, only she'southward afraid she would eat all the profits. When she's not heedless about cupcakes, Coco edits children's books and has written close to 100 books for children, tweens, and young adults, which is a lot less than the number of cupcakes she'due south eaten. Cupcake Diaries is the first time Coco has mixed her dear of cupcakes with writing.
